If you encounter this issue, run the following command on the HMC:
lssyscfg -r sys -F name,type_model,serial_num,ipaddr
If the Managed Server name contains spaces, rename it to remove all spaces.
To rename a Managed Server:
- Login to the HMC.
- Choose the corresponding server from the Servers list.
- Select Advanced System Management (ASM).
- Login to ASM.
- Expand the System Configuration option.
- From the left menu, select System Name.
- Change the Name and save.
