Can't add HMC managed server to up.time

If you encounter this issue, run the following command on the HMC:

lssyscfg -r sys -F name,type_model,serial_num,ipaddr

If the Managed Server name contains spaces, rename it to remove all spaces.

To rename a Managed Server:

  Login to the HMC.
  \n
• \n
  Choose the corresponding server from the Servers list.
  \n
• \n
  Select Advanced System Management (ASM).
  \n
• \n
  Login to ASM.
  \n
• \n
  Expand the System Configuration option.
  \n
• \n
  From the left menu, select System Name.
  \n
• \n
  Change the Name and save.
