If you encounter this issue, run the following command on the HMC:
\n\n\nlssyscfg -r sys -F name,type_model,serial_num,ipaddr
If the Managed Server name contains spaces, rename it to remove all spaces.
To rename a Managed Server:
- \nLogin to the HMC.\n
- \nChoose the corresponding server from the Servers list.\n
- \nSelect Advanced System Management (ASM).\n
- \nLogin to ASM.\n
- \nExpand the System Configuration option.\n
- \nFrom the left menu, select System Name.\n
- \nChange the Name and save.
