Use the following steps to move your up.time datastore to a different directory:
\n- Stop the up.time data collector and datastore services using the following commands:
\n\nWindows: > net stop "up.time Data Collector" > net stop "up.time Data Store"
\nLinux or Solaris: # /etc/init.d/uptime_core stop # /etc/init.d/uptime_datastore stop
- \nCopy the \\datastore\\data folder to your desired location.
- \nEdit the \\mysql\\my.ini file by updating the following line so that it points to the new location of the datastore:
\n\ndatadir="C:/Program Files//uptime software/uptime/datastore/data/"
- \nStart the up.time datastore and data collector services using the following commands:
\n\nWindows: > net start "up.time Data Store" > net start "up.time Data Collector"
\nLinux or Solaris: # /etc/init.d/uptime_datastore start # /etc/init.d/uptime_core start
- \nConfirm the change by checking the timestamps of the ibdata* files in the new datastore directory and verify that you can successfully login to up.time.
