* Running the RHEL 7.x Uptime Agents requires the 'perl' and 'net-tools' packages. Use the following command to install them:
yum install perl
yum install net-tools
To run the Uptime Agent with xinetd, install the xinetd package using the following command:
yum install xinetd
Users who do not want to install and use xinetd with RHEL 7.x Agent must start the Agent in daemon mode using the steps in the Knowledge Base article Running the Uptime Infrastructure Monitor agent under Daemon Mode without Xinetd.
