The official name for this release is vCenter 5.0 U1 but Uptime Infrastructure Monitor will report this version as 5.0.0 build 623373 on the vCenter's information view.

Monitoring vCenter 5.0 without the U1 update may produce the following symptoms:

  • Uptime Infrastructure Monitor alerting about failed connection attempts to the vCenter due to issues with the supplied credentials, even though those credentials are confirmed to be valid.
