The Windows up.time Agent does not have a default password. A password can be added through the up.time Agent Console or in the Windows Registry Editor.
\n \nUsing the up.time Agent Console

- Right click on the 'up.time agent console' and run as Administrator. \n \n
- Update the 'Password' field with desired password. \n
- Click on the 'Save' Button to save the changes. It will prompt you the following message "up.time Agent Settings Savd! Would you like to restart the agent for the new settings to go into effect? Click 'Yes' \n
To add a password to the agent in the Windows Registry Editor:

- Click Start > Run. \n
- Type
regedit
and press Enter.
\n - Find the following registry key:
\n
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/UptimeSoftware/up.time agent
\n \n
\n
\n - In the right pane of the Registry Editor, double click the CmdsPassword entry.
\n \n
\n - Enter the password in the Value data field of the dialog box and click OK. \n
- Start and then restart the up.time agent by typing the following commands at the command prompt:

net stop "up.time agent"
\nnet start "up.time agent"
