If you have installed up.time for the first time, or changed the hostname of your Monitoring Station and receive an a message 'up.time Data Collector' message is unavailable in the Monitoring Station web interfaceGUI. This is likely the result of a mismatch between the hostname up.time is trying to use to contact connect the Core/Data-collector and where the service is actually running.
This can be resolved by updating the uptime.conf with the correct hostname for your server:

- Edit the uptime.conf file in the uptime up.time installation directory.
- Modify the httpContext and monitorHost fields to point to the correct hostname for your server.
- Restart the up.time data collector: Starting and Stopping up.time
