Issue Description

Error messages appear when running the following commands: /usr/sbin/sar, /usr/lib/sa/sadc or perfparse.sh.

Symptom

Receipt of the following error messages:

sar error: "System configuration changed. The current iteration values may be inaccurate."
sar error: "There is not enough memory available now."

Affected Version

All Uptime Infrastructure Monitor AIX agent versions running on AIX 5.3 with SMT enabled.

Resolution

IBM has recognized and resolved this problem with the following APAR packages:

1. IY65467
2. IY66354

Please contact Uptime Customer Support for further assistance if the above vendor-provided fixes do not resolve the issue.
