To receive popup alerts from up.timeUptime Infrastructure Monitor, the Windows messaging service must be enabled on the recipient's computer.

  1. In Windows, select Start > Control Panel.
  2. In the Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Services.

    The Services window appears.

  3. Find and then double-click Messenger in the list of services.

    The Messenger Properties dialog box appears.

  4. In the Messenger Properties dialog box, select Automatic from the Startup type dropdown list.
  5. Click Apply.
